Mobilizing a church means organizing and educating it to take action.

Part of our vision at Care of Creation is help church organizations around the world become mobilized to Care for Creation.

Our vision of a mobilized church as one that:

• Incorporates the subject of creation care in its teachings from the pulpit
• Exposes children, teens and adults to the biblical concept of creation care through educational curriculum
• Demonstrates stewardship of God’s creation in action by:
  • Planning its activities to incorporate creation care
  • Teaching and encouraging its members to demonstrate creation care as an integral part of their daily activities as well as their local and global outreach
  • Sharing resources and the gospel while caring for people affected by environmental issues. We call this “Environmental Missions“.
  • Demonstrating creation care and stewardship through the management of its physical plan and the land that the church occupies.

Our strategy to help churches become mobilized is through hands-on seminars that focus on the biblical basis for creation care. Along with these seminars, we develop and provide teaching materials and resources while we work with congregations to identify practical actions that put creation care into practice.
